Opus provides a comprehensive range of services in the land transportation sector.  We assist our clients in the planning, development, maintenance and operation of their infrastructure assets.  An integrated approach is taken to the asset life cycle which provides optimisation of existing assets and increased capacity through empowerment, replacement and provision of new facilities.

We focus on road, rail, cycling and walking.  Our clients include road and rail controlling authorities, transportation planning agencies, private developers and transport operators.

Queensland Floods - Road Network Repair

The scale of the flooding in Queensland during December 2010 and January 2011 was unprecedented.  9000 km of Queensland’s State-controlled highways were damaged, along with a significant proportion of the State’s local authority network.

Cockatoo Coal Bridge Upgrade

Queensland’s approaching wet season was the catalyst to fast-track the design and approvals for a project to upgrade a large public road bridge, which saw the project completed in two and a half months instead of the more typical six month turnaround.

Epping to Chatsworth Underground Rail Project

The 12.5km underground rail line from Epping to Chatswood on Sydney’s North Shore provides an effective and pleasant public transport link through the expanding educational and commercial precinct of Macquarie University, Macquarie Park, and North Ryde.
