Traffic Engineering Services for Main Roads, Western Australia

Opus personnel fulfilled the role of Traffic Services Officer, completing general duties such as investigation and resolution of signing and line marking anomalies, investigation and resolution of traffic and safety concerns, crash investigation and analysis, treatment selection, assessment of designs submitted by developers/Councils, production of drawings for sign and line marking projects, issuing of works requests, liaison, general correspondence, and reporting.

Project Management Services for Main Roads, Western Australia

Opus provided project development services which included drafting project charters, preparing concept drawings, obtaining services data, drafting consultant’s briefs and arranging surveys, preliminary environmental impact assessments, traffic engineering, and design services. Significant projects included the improvement of the Stock Road/South Street intersection and Albany Highway Improvements from Shepperton Road to Leach Highway.

Accessible Bus Stops, Western Australia

Opus was commissioned by the Western Australian Local Government Association (WALGA) in partnership with the Public Transport Authority (PTA) to assess the minimum and desirable requirements for bus stops as set down in the Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport 2002 and PTA guidelines, and to provide guidance and recommendations on their implementation.
