Project Management

For more than 125 years Opus has provided design and project management services to commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and government sector clients throughout New Zealand, and more latterly in all four corners of the world. As would be expected of a company with such a rich legacy our systems of control, collaboration, and issue resolution are of the very highest standard. The combination of these systems, our values of excellent service delivery and urgency through empowerment, and the individual expertise and commitment of our project leaders and support staff are essential ingredients of our success.

Our service looks beyond the traditional precepts of effective project management – Time, Cost and Quality, and rather than manage these concepts in an abstract fashion, we seek to address them in a truly holistic manner from the very outset of the project right through to completion. To achieve this higher level project management expertise requires a detailed and thoughtful understanding of client needs and preferences, an ability to align the sometimes disparate views of project team members and stakeholders and through it all build cohesive, effective teams, and an ability to overcome complexity and project issues through innovation, technical excellence, and joint problem solving focussed on solutions, not blame. These are our strengths.
