From 2003 to 2007, Opus was involved in the project management of this National Aboriginal Health Strategy (NAHS) project (including planning, community consultation, design and documentation, contract superintendence) for the extension of overhead power and water supply upgrading to Tjuwanpa outstation communities in the Hermannsburg area in Central Australia. The project involved the extensions, in two stages, of overhead 22 kV power reticulations to 18 Tjuwanpa outstation communities, electrification and the re-equipping of 10 water supply bores and water supply upgrades.
