Opus was the hydraulic services designers for the Australian Centre for Life Long Learning development in Springfield. Our scope of works included the design, documentation and construction inspections of the $80 million Education Precinct. The development consists of a number of buildings. A 6 storey University of Southern Queensland building provides office and teaching facilities whilst a second 6 storey building, the World Knowledge Centre, supplies additional office accommodation to the precinct. The complex also boasts a 2 storey retail and office building, auditorium and three 2 storey buildings which provide student accommodation. A childcare facility and Junior school are also included in the development. The Education Precinct provides learning opportunities for all people, from preschool level through to University.
