RESULTS OF OPUS ANNUAL MEETING 2009
The second Annual Meeting of Shareholders since Opus International Consultants was listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange was held today in Wellington.
At the meeting Opus Chairman, Kerry McDonald and Managing Director, Kevin Thompson presented their respective reports on the past year.
The following Resolutions, which were put to shareholders at the meeting today, were passed by shareholders.
- Directors were authorised to fix the remuneration of the Auditors
- Suhaimi Halim and Tan See Yin who were standing for re- election due to retirement by rotation were both re-elected.
- Keith Watson and Fraser Whineray who were appointed by the Board in 2008 and were standing for re-election, were both re-elected
All Resolutions were decided by poll and verified by the Auditors, Ernst & Young.
Details of the total number of votes cast for each of the Resolutions by proxy and poll are:

Shareholders were also told of the retirement of long standing Director, Dan Stevenson from the Board. Mr Stevenson has been on the Board of Opus since 1993 and made a very valuable contribution to the Board over this time from a commercial and legal perspective. With his legal expertise he provided assistance in helping to guide the Board through the IPO
