The Mt Grand Raw Water Reservoir provides security for the substantial portion of Dunedin City’s water supply that is supplied from the Mt Grand Water Treatment Plant. Raw water is conveyed to the Mt Grand site via long vulnerable pipelines from the Deep Stream and Deep Creek catchments.
The Leith Lindsay Flood Protection Scheme, New Zealand
Although flood protection exists on the Water of Leith and Lindsay creeks there are stretches that only have a ‘one in 20 year or less’ level of protection. The Leith Lindsay Flood Protection Scheme is the result of consultation with the Otago Regional Council, Dunedin City Council, the University of Otago and other stakeholders.
Wellington Wastewater Project, Mainzeal and Anglian Water International, New Zealand
Design services for this design/build/operate contract included tanks and clarifiers, pipework and civil works. Services also included contract documentation and supervision. Opus worked within a very tight site with designs that efficiently accommodated a number of project processes.
