Alison Swan was appointed Company Secretary and Legal Advisor in 1992. Alison has provided legal advice and leadership through the various forms of the company since beginning as a Solicitor for the New Zealand Ministry of Works and Development. She played a leading role in the privatisation of the company in 1996 and the listing of the company on the New Zealand Stock Exchange in 2007. She is also Trustee of the WORKS Superannuation Scheme. Alison holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law from Otago University and is a member of the New Zealand Law Society.
